MONTHLY PRAYER POINTS - MAY 2024

Thank you for praying for our monthly prayer points. I’m still reading Proverbs, and today was meditating on Chapter 14, specifically the importance of the fear of the Lord. For example, verse 2, Whoever fears the Lord walks uprightly, but those who despise him are devious in their ways; verse 26, Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge; verse 27, The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.  We have a holy God, and a God who is love.  A God, we love because He loved us first. We have a God who is the creator of Heaven and Earth, sovereign over all. As we lift our voices together with these prayers, let's remember WHO we are praying to!! Nothing is impossible for Him. 

Macquarie Life Church 

• That Jesus would build His church and that we would align with His purposes  

• Protect the church leadership (Fivefold Leadership Team, Board and Elders) from the attacks of the enemy and that the voice of the Holy Spirit will lead the team. 

• Pentecost Sunday (19 May) - an outpouring of the Holy Spirit 

• Multi-Purpose Centre – For God’s perfect timing re: commencing the build 

Church Family 

• Freedom from addictions, in Jesus Name. 

Local Community 

• Salvation for all in postcode 2283 (Arcadia Vale; Awaba; Balmoral; Blackalls Park; Bolton Point; Buttaba; Carey Bay; Coal Point; Fassifern; Fennell Bay; Fishing Point; Kilaben Bay; Rathmines; Ryhope; Toronto). 

• Boolaroo Community and Schools affected by the recent death of the young girl in their community. 

Nation 

• Godly wisdom for leaders (Govt, Business and Community) regarding strategies for reducing domestic violence. 

Global 

• India – that the Holy Spirit will wash over the nation and bring revival.
